My deepest condolences in the loss of your mother. When I spoke to her at Willowgreen, I am not sure if she knew who I was - but I knew who she was - a kind, soft spoken woman who always, always, always made me feel welcome. A woman who opened up her home for a surprise bridal shower for me. A woman who taught her daughters by example to be gracious and loving to those fortunate enough to touch any of their lives. A woman who, instead of shutting herself off later in life, opened herself up to more adventures and new experiences. Mrs. Knuth, you are a model for all women who wish to have a walk with the Lord. May God bless you and your family. May you rest in peace.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to your family for your loss.

I relayed the information of Aunt Astrid's passing to Clayton Nielsen yesterday after receiving the information from Nancy Nielsen. He told me that he remebers her as always being a very sweet lady. He told me that his sister Hazel was only two years younger than Aunt Astrid and that they did things together when they were younger. My father Clayton (82) is in Bonita Springs, Florida with the full time job of being a caregiver to my mother Irene (80) whom has Alzheimers.
