David Buske Obituary

MILWAUKEE - David Charles Buske, age 77, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Clement J. Zablocki VAMC in Milwaukee, WI. On October 31, 1940, David was born to Clyde and Adeline (nee Klechowitz) in Greenfield, WI. He proudly served in the United States Army. David was united in marriage to Katherine (Kay) Eschmann on July 16, 1988. David was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sturtevant. He served on the Veterans board in Racine. David enjoyed wrestling in high school. In his younger years, David was known to drag race motorcycles. David had a passion for fast cars. Two of his prized cars were a Mercedes 1973 SLC and a 1952 Jaguar convertible. David enjoyed traveling and took a trip to Germany in 2007. He also traveled to see many NASCAR races. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and Brett Farve was his favorite player. David was a staunch Republican and was a Trump fan from the start. He was fond of discussing finances, business and politics with his brothers. David spent many hours playing Cribbage with Kay and spending summer days on their pontoon boat when they lived in Waterford. Many happy family memories were had there. He was a prankster. He adored his dog, Keebler, who provided wonderful companionship to him. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kay; his children: Denise (Leonard) Meyer, Jennifer Krzoska, Kristin Buske, Heather (John) Badten; stepchildren: Richard (Rebecca) Andersen, Kari (Kevin) Bruns, Heidi Post; grandchildren: Robert, Danielle, Nicholas, David, Kevin, Michael, Jonathan, Kaelee, Caleb, Steven, Benjamin, Amelia, Adam, Abigail, Jacob, Julia, Steven, James, Ashley, Sarah, and Molly; 6 great grandchildren; brothers: Owen (Arletta) Buske and Tom (Lynne) Buske; special cousin: Edie Hahlbeck; dear friends: Frank Kumosz and Barney Bauer, and other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Duwayne Buske and sister-in-law, Marcia Buske. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church (3126 95th Street, Sturtevant) with Fr. Ron Gramza officiating and Deacon Eric Seawell assisting. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Entombment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials made in David’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association. Online condolences may be made at www.wilsonfuneralhomeinc.com.
