Weep not for him now that he has passed.
Remember the laughter, the affection, the joy not just the recent tears.
Cherish the memories, his hopes and dreams.
Hold fast to the love that we all shared.
Be happy with the time we spent together with him and being anew.
For he am not really gone, he is closer than ever before.
As the morning sun rises and throughout the busy day... remember he is with you.
I was so proud to have him as my second daddy. My sincere sympathy goes out to his extended family and all that he touched in the years he spent here with us.

Please know you have our deepest sympathy, it is never easy for those of us left behind to easily accept the fact that our loved one has gone on to be with our Lord and Savior. Mr Lott's life and legacy speaks for itself. Although he is gone on to his reward he lives on through his children and loved ones and will not be forgotten. Rest in the arms of our Lord and know you have left a legacy beyond measure.

To all of my family, words cannot express the way that you are feeling right now. I will continue to pray that the hurt and pain will pass and that you feel comfort in knowing that another soldier has gone on to rest forever in a place that we all one day hope to see. To be greeted at the gates by all of our loved ones that have gone on before us. Uncle jacob was a pillar in the community that can never be replaced. He will be missed.
