Linda Brady Obituary

Linda Louise Brady (née Metzger), age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin, and later made her home in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, where she built a life full of love, faith, and service. Linda was the devoted wife of David Brady for nearly 50 years, a proud mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved sister and friend.

She is survived by her children Matthew (Sarah) Brady and Melissa (Nick) Kinney; her adored grandchildren Theresa, Louise, Eileen, Katherine, Jack and Ella; her siblings Jim Metzger and Kathy (David) Opahle; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Viola Metzger.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home. A service celebrating Linda's life will be held on Monday, October 6 at Lutheran Church of Martha & Mary, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Graveside burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lutheran Church of Martha & Mary or the American Cancer Society.
