Racine - Mary (nee: Salas) Servantez stepped into eternal life with her Savior Jesus Christ on March 11, 2024, with all her loving family by her side.
Mary was welcomed into this world by the late Gabriel and Gregoria (nee: Ramirez) Salas on March 23, 1929, in Austin, Texas. She shared many cherished years of marriage with her beloved husband, Antonio C. Servantez, until his passing.
Mary's devotion was unwavering, especially to her family. She was a beacon of love and kindness, a cherished sister, mother, and grandmother whose absence will be deeply felt but whose memory will forever reside in the hearts of those she leaves behind including her loving children: Helen Sanchez, Antonio (Dolores), Paul (Cynthia), Felix (Gloria), Fred and Rosemarie Servantez; grandchildren: Lisa, Christina, Paul, Lynda, Athena, Juan, Antonio, Nicole, Jennifer, Angel, Melinda, Marlena, Capiro, Isaac, Arturo, Daniel, Tina, J.D., Juan, Felicia, Krissy, David Jr., Agustin, Katrina, Samantha, John, Anna, Jessica, Sergio, Salina, Salisia, Desiree, Zachary, Michael, Melissa, Megan, Matthew, and Mitchell; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; beloved sister, Olivia Orta; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family finds comfort in knowing that Mary joins her parents, Gabriel and Georgia Salas; brothers: Valente, Trinidad, Juan, and Manual Salas; sister, Oralia Esquivel; daughters: Linda Fernandez and Frances Hernandez; grandchildren: Caitlin, Olga, and Sisto; and great-grandson, Nathaniel Bernal, together with God in peace.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1212 Lathrop Avenue, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM followed by a ceremony at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Old Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 2530 Kinzie Avenue in Racine.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Mary in a special way may direct memorials to your local VFW or to an organization of your choice. Also, visit www.wilsonfuneralhomeinc.com to share online condolences and memories of Mary.
A special thank you to the facility and staff at the Parkview Garden Assistant Living apartments for their selfless and compassionate love and care they provided to Mary for the last three years before she passed.
