Growing up in Holy Name Parish and School and attending St. Catherine's High School, I have many fond memories of Farher Roetzer and his wonderful singing voice during mass and his memorable sermons. I distinctly remember a sermon at Holy Name where he went through the various stain glass window images and explained the stories behind the pictures. An inspiring person and teacher.

Great influence in my life. I truly owe so much of what I am today to Russ.

I have known Russ for many years...St. Catherine's H.S., St. Rose, Holy Name, and St. Richard. He was always kind and gracious. He was famous for his dinner parties and so proud to tell his guests that everything from the table settings to all the food that was served was freshly ordred from E-bay! Visiting him at the nursing home I found that he continued to be a teacher. He showed us how to live and accept what life had to offer...even the hardships. His Faith in God, the Church and his ministry never waivered! May God bless him for his life of service to us all.
A special thank you to Ellie. Your years of friendship especially during these past years will be remembered by all of us who witnessed your many acts of kindness.
Sincerely,

I'm still amazed at the amount of talented people that I got a chance to work and become friends with in Fr. Roetzer's Theater Program. So many went on to creative endeavors in every aspect of life. Those are some of the dearest memories of my life. What a wonderful legacy. Thank you for everything, Russ.
