Walter Kroll Obituary
Wally was born in Racine, WI, on Jan. 28, 1931. He resided in Racine until relocating to Chandler, AZ. In 2022, Wally moved to Greenwood, SC. Our family would like to thank George and Jean Kroll for their special care of Dad during this past year.
Wally was united in marriage to the love of his life, Carol M. Raasch, on Sept. 20, 1950, at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, in Racine, WI. Their loving family legacy includes: Deborah (Curtis) Schumacher, parents of Erika (Michael) Tominna, George (Jean) Kroll, Marianne Richow Kroll Douglas, mother of Sarah (Darrin) Dreger, Laura (Scot) Mitchell, and Michael (Tanya) Kroll, Thomas (Laura) Kroll, parents of Jessica and Joshua Kroll, both predeceasing their Grandfather, and Elisabeth (Lisa) Kroll Hazlett, mother of Daniel (Paria) Hazlett and Adam Hazlett.
Family blessings continue with great grandchildren: Colin and Aiden Tominna, Jackson and Ava Mitchell, Alexandria Parker-Kroll, Katelin Kroll, and Madeline Kroll.
Walter is further survived by his brother-in-law Stanley Raasch, and special "little brother"-in-law Allen (Barbara) Raasch.
Wally was an avid reader, enjoyed singing, classic movies, vintage musicals, and visiting National Parks. His gift of easy conversation, sense of humor, and hearty laugh will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Loyalty and strength of character were his true Spirit. He greatly valued family harmony and kinship above all else. We will sorely miss hearing his reply "Love you more!", when he was told he was loved. Fortunately our hearts will never forget it.
As a tribute to Walter's memory, please do something to make this world a better place. Reconcile with a family member or friend, contribute resources or time to a local food bank, help a neighbor or volunteer your time, cherish your time with family and friends, tell someone you love them.
A combined Celebration of Life in honor of Walter and Carol will be held Sept. 20, 2023, at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Racine, WI. Visitation at 10:30 a.m., Service at 11:00 a.m.

Wally was a dear friend of my parents and like an uncle to us kids. He will be missed but what a reunion in heaven with all neighborhood gathering together again.
