Adolf Binder Obituary

Binder, Adolf "Adi" Of Wauwatosa passed away on Sunday April 3, 2016 at the age of 78 surrounded by his family. Survived by his wife Brigitte, daughter Nicole (Peter), and son Christian. Loving and fun Opa of Hannah, Nola, Owen, Aoife, Everett, and Iona. He is further survived by several relatives in Austria, and dear friends in Milwaukee. Originally from southern Austria, Adi was an accomplished gymnast, mountain climber and Konditor. After coming to the United States he taught himself English, joined the National Guard, and ran the Forst Keller in downtown Milwaukee where he was the "life of the party". Later Adi became a successful salesman for Adidas. Adi also worked as an examiner for the Professional Ski Instructors of America, lead several area Ski Schools, and started the first Austrian Club in Milwaukee which is still in existence. Services will be held Wednesday April 13th at 10:00AM, with visitation for family and friends starting at 8:30AM at Old St. Mary's Parish, 844 N. Broadway in downtown Milwaukee (Parking directly behind church). Adi will be buried in Austria at a later date.
