Uncle Al and Aunt Tina (My Godparents)
You are now united forever and will live on in the hearts and minds of those of us still here on earth. Aunt Tina left so very early in her life and I remember visiting her at Mt Carmel during her last days. She was so very proud of her granddaughters and pictures were displayed prominently in her room. She always had a smile as well as Uncle Al. They were the best Godparents and I was lucky to have them in my life. Uncle Al always took the time to send me birthday cards. He also enjoyed talking to Don about the military. He was a very loving, kind, gentle man and will be missed by all who knew him.
Al Jr. and Kathy, please know we would be there for the last goodbyes but distance, and other comittments make it impossible. I do feel sad I cannot be there as you were present when mother passed away. You must now carry forward your mother and father's greatest attributes. They truly were wonderful Godparents. My deepest sympathies to you, your daughters and their families.
Love,
Janet (Radtke) Loranger

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
