MARY ANN, ALTHOUGH I NEVER MET YOU, MY CONDOLENCES TO YOU ON THE PASSING OF YOUR FATHER, WHO I WORKED WITH DURING MY ABBREVIATED 18 YEAR CAREER ON THE MILWAUKEE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

I HAD A DUAL CAREER, FIRST IN BROADCASTING AND WHILE WORKING WITH THE DEAN OF BROADCASTERS, CARL ZIMMERMANN AT CHANNEL 6, I WOULD OFTEN SPEND TIME IN THE NEWSROOM LISTENING TO THE POLICE RADIO MONITOR AND FOUND POLICE WORK MORE INTERESTING THAN TELEVISION.

IN 1978, I DISCOVERED LOS ANGELES AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL WEATHER AND CHANGED CAREER PATHS, AFTER INVESTIGATING THE COST OF HOME OWNERSHIP AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES.

AS I RECALL, YOUR PARENTS LIVED ON THE EAST SIDE, NEAR PROSPECT AND KILBOURN.

MY BEST TO YOU.

DONALD H. PINSKER, PROUD FORMER 18 YEAR VETERAN MILWAUKEE POLICE OFFICER, 1962-1980.

RETIRED BROADCAST ENGINEER, THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK, WEST COAST HEADQUARTERS, TELEVISION CITY, LOS ANGELES / HOLLYWOOD, 1982-2005.
