Marshell family & Stacey, I'm praying for God to comfort and strengthen us all during this difficult time. Words cannot express the love I have for my friend. I'm at peace knowing that our God has prepared a place for him- and that place is filled with peace, love, and joy.  I told him that I was not letting go and regardless of the negative reports he received, God always have the final say- so now that he's no longer with us we have to be assured by the word of God- knowing that he cares for us and he will keep us in perfect peace. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 NIV)

Anthony, Happy Birthday today. I've known you as a patient and as a very dear friend. I'll miss our marathon conversations and counseling sessions. My Dear Tony, It's been an awesome adventure. I have been truly blessed to have you as a part of my life; as a coworker, partner and friend. Im sure you are sitting in the bed with the remote control smaking on some Peanut Butter Kap n Krunch looking down on us all with that cheesy grin on your face. You were truly amazing. A friend indeed. I thank you so much for everything you have deposited into my life. I remember you always saying "See that's your problem, you dont listen." I do listen Tony but I got a kick out of hearing you say all your Tonyisms over and over again. 14 years is a long time to hear "Let me tell you what my daddy told me." Every time I see Life I will hear you cracking up. Thanks Tony, for teaching me so much. Some of those lessons have proved invaluable. Thanks for having such a huge heart to go with that huge smile. Thanks for always loving me and caring for me and for not being afraid to show it. Thanks for keeping "them boys" near to your heart. The lessons I learned from you, I will carry with me forever. I am trying not to be sad and to think of all the great memories I have. But it's pretty darn hard. I will carry your favorite scripture in my heart and I will make SURE the boys understand what you have said. You truly are a great person. I love you forever friend.

To the Marshell family, I pray that you have peace and the Lord comfort you at this time of sadness. He is in a better place now and is free of pain and illness.

To Sgt Marshall, I am going to miss you. You always made me smile. I will miss those days when I would come to drill and ask you "What kind of cologne your wearing?" And you would respond saying "I'm not telling you" but
eventually you tell me anyway because it was for my boys. I am going to miss all the stories you told about your job as a Sheriff. You are missed by so many you should know . Though you are gone you will never be forgotten O:-) Save room for the S4 supply crew.

To the Family and Friends of SGT Marshell - John 14:1-3 says: "Let not your heart be troubled; believe in My Father and believe in Me also. In My Father's house are many rooms; if it was not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am." Know that SGT Marshell is just gone to that place that Jesus has already went ahead and prepared for him so that he can be with Him. God has surely came and recieved another Angel. I can picture the Angels in heaven celebrating and saying "WELCOME HOME, ANTHONY". He will be missed.

It is with a heavy heart that I extend my condolences to Ant's family. May God give you strength, comfort and peace during this time of loss. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Know that he is resting in eternal peace now with the Lord sitting high and watching low. Marsh was a man of great strength. Even on a bad day, his smile would light up the room. His presence will be missed, but the happy memories will last a lifetime.
