Schubert, Arno A. Passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, age 78 yrs. Loving husband of Linda (nee Kollwelter). Beloved father of Carrie (Daniel) McKenzie and the late Elisabeth Schubert. Dear Grandpa of Alison L.M. (Micah) Caldwell, Connor (Gina) McKenzie and Jamieson Rose McKenzie. Brother of the late Richard (Judi) Schubert. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday Nov. 18, 2017, at HALES CORNERS LUTHERAN CHURCH 12300 W. Janesville Rd. from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Arno was a man of many interests. He was incredibly proud of his daughter's accomplishments as well as those of his 3 grandchildren. He was the ultimate salesman, always ready with a smile and a handshake. Arno was a real "foodie", before foodie was a thing. He was fascinated by all things mechanical-- especially motorcycles, boats, cars, planes and trains. Arno was a proud member of Hales Corners Lutheran Church, the Kettle Moraine HOG Chapter, and Wauwatosa High School Class of '57. He and Lin were blessed with 42 years together, filled with fun, family, travel and love. Memorials to Hales Corners Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice.
