Arthur Rand Obituary

Rand, Arthur S. August 19, 2016, age 92 years, of Mequon. Beloved husband of the late Estelle Victoria Rand. Dear father of Melinda Rand, Richard J. (Lisa Stengel) Rand and Douglas Rand. Preceded in death by his fond brothers Leo (Bernice) Rand and Harold (Norma "Toot") Rand. Loving grandfather of Allison, Stephanie and Dena Rand; Samuel Rand. Further survived by other relatives and a community of friends. The family extends special thanks to all of his doctors, the staff at Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee and Sarah Chudnow Campus for the exceptional care provided to Art. Art's real estate career began in single family home sales throughout metropolitan Milwaukee. He went on to become an innovator of sales and marketing concepts for condominium developments, the first being Servite Woods. In the 1980's, Art owned one of the largest Century 21 offices in the Midwest. Art was a wonderful man who shared his gift with many, but most of all was a loving friend, husband, father, and grandfather. Graveside services 2 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Second Home Cemetery, 3705 S. 43 St., Milwaukee. Check the funeral home Facebook or website for more information. I have not lived in Milwaukee for many years. My most vivid memory is from childhood when Archie's family held the Zilberbrand seder in the recreation room.
