Barry Hersh Obituary

Barry Neil Hersh

Barry Neil Hersh found peace on December 3, 2020. He was born in Milwaukee on September 4, 1940 to Fred and Min (Cohn) Hersh, now deceased. Barry loved and is survived by his sister Sharon Hersh Rothstein, his nephew Rick (Frederick) Rothstein, his niece Jacquelynn Rothstein and her son Ben Daly. He leaves behind his very fine friends Neal and Sue Zechman.

Barry worked as a computer programmer starting in the days when computers were still new on the scene. He had a deep interest in acquiring knowledge about Judaism. He was an avid reader. Funeral services will be held privately at Second Home Cemetery. The family thanks Rabbi Marc Berkson for his kindness.

Memorials may be made to the University of Wisconsin Foundation: Stem Cell Research, 1848 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53726-4090.

My condolences to all of the family. You are in my thoughts, as you deal with your loss. Many years have passed since I saw Barry or Sharon.

Big Barry was a member of our family forever. 7 mile fair, the state fair, playing with the dogs , and going for coffee were some of the fun things we would all do together. He will be missed. May his memory be a blessing to all who had the pleasure of having him in their lives.
