Beverly Fast

Fast, Beverly A longtime resident of Wauwatosa, passed away on January 25, 2011, at the age of 83. Devoted daughter of Owen and Anna (nee Marsack) Kreademan. She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 59 years, Warren and children, Todd, Beth and Sandy (Greg Jolly); relatives and friends. Beverly was born in Sheboygan but grew up in the Milwaukee area. She enjoyed playing in the band while attending Whitefish Bay High School, broadcasting radio news and events while at MacMurray College in Jacksonville Ill and attending various classes at MATC. She lived briefly in Glendale, California and San Antonio, Texas, before moving to New Alexandria, VA, where she worked teletyping White House double blind code messages during the Korean War. Her marriage brought her back to Wisconsin. Following the birth of her children and countless hours devoted to their school and scouting activities, she began her 21+ year career with JC Penney, Catalog Division. While in Quality Control, she took great pride in making sure that the US Olympic Team Opening Ceremony Parade Uniforms were perfectly in order. Beverly enjoyed reading and travel. Her love and compassion for all animals, and particularly her cats Paddington, Molly and Laine, brought her great pleasure. In lieu of flowers, Beverly's family requests that contributions be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society, Milwaukee or the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) Waukesha, WI. A gathering will take place on Tuesday, February 1, at 2PM, in the Chapel of the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
