Brian VanDusen Obituary

Van Dusen, Brian L. passed away on June 26, 2019 at the age of 75 . Brian was raised and lived in South Milwaukee all of his life. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Romanski) for 47 years. Loving father of Jason L. (Christina), Kimberly R. (Ryan) Larson, Amy C. (Ronald Spurlock) Wiedenhoeft, and Damien B. (Kristine Rehberg). Proud grandfather of Taylor, Zakary, Lauren, and Parker. Brother of Ronald (Jackie) and Frank (Denise). Brother-in-law of James, John (Joyce), and Jeffrey (Linda) Romanski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and good friends. Brian was a musician all of his life. He played guitar on the road and also played at the first Summerfest. He worked for Louis Allis for 35 years. Brian was a Scout Master and involved in many sports as coach and referee. A celebration of this wonderful life is being held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 1:00PM at Henry Miller Park Pavilion (315 E. Groveland Dr., Oak Creek).

Van Dusen family, I am so sorry for your loss! Mr. Van Dusen was one of the nicest Dads i could remember growing up. Always had a smile and a hug for you! You are all in my thoughts and prayers! hugs to you Mrs. V.

I remember working with Brian in South Milwaukee at the music store. He did lessons while I worked out front. Very funny guy, and a great influence on everything music. I will miss him.
