I had the privilege of knowing Carl from lakeshore medical clinic and found out that he knew my grandpa Ted from the fire dept. I always enjoyed talking to Carl. May he rest in peace now.

Carl was a great guy. He and I were Fire fighters together on the MFD. He and I were the only two gys to volunter to go down into a manhole steam tunnel to extinguish a fire on about 7th and Michigan, downtown. His sister Mary Ann was a friend of my cousin Audrey Burocki back when we were young. Those were the days. Carl will be welcomed in Heaven.

Carl was my brother-in-law and a funnier man can not be found. I am hard put to think of a time when he not only made me laugh but laugh until my sides hurt and tears were rolling down my face. Someone should have recorded his performances. And they were definitely "performances". But as luck will have it his stories will go with him to heaven where I'm sure he is honing his skills on Barb. That's after she slaps him silly for messing up her home. Will miss you Carly. Love Lyn

Tim enjoyed working with Carl on MFD years ago, and ironically Marlene worked with Barb at Victory School. We both enjoyed our time with Carl and Barb at work and outside of work -- fun times. Our heartfelt sympathy to the family.
