I have very fond memories of Mr. Schetter coming to our house just before Christmas with his big, infectious laugh and a bottle of my dad's favorite gin wrapped up in a holiday bow. I also have great memories of skiing with all of the Schetters in the U.P. I remember one of the trips, we rented an RV to drive up in together. As a life long skier, I can trace back my very first time on skis to one of these fun trips.....RIP Mr. Schetter, your love of food and wine, fun with friends and carpe-diem style was one-of-a-kind and made a big impression on me as a kid. My condolences to Fred, Mary, John and Tom.

My sympathies to the Schetter family. Carl was a great mentor to me, and his help and guidance as I began my law career was invaluable. He was a treasured friend and neighbor, He will be greatly missed.
