Carolyn Papia Obituary
Born to Eternal Life Saturday January 8, 2005 age 75. Preceded in death by her loving daughter Carolyn "Candy" Papia, brother Frank Lavora, parents Charles and Josephine Lavora.
Sally is survived by her sister Jean (Gilbert) Blinkewitz and brother James (Karen) Lavora. Loving aunt to Louisa (David) Behnke, Dean (Jennifer) Blinkewitz, Frankie Blinkewitz,
Tony, Michael, Nick and Dawn Lavora. Loving great-aunt to Grant and Kyahna Behnke, Brittany and Maria Blinkewitz. Sally will be loved and remembered by Louise (Pat) Platto, nieces, nephews, cousins, many dear and special relatives and friends.
Visitation at the Funeral Home Thursday, January 13, 2005, 3-8PM. Funeral service 8:15PM. Father Tim Kitzke officiating. Private burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
Sally's family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of her business associates, patrons, employees and others who supported her through the years.

I worked for Sally at the Knickerbocher Hotel - I was her hostess for a few years. I'll never forget the day she hired me. She asked me "what name would you like me to call you", adding "there can be only one SALLY in this restaurant"!! She will be missed. She taught me alot. My brother Kim, who was one of her chefs, will also never forget her!

I have many fond memories of Sally, Candy and John. Their passing is very sad indeed. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to their relatives and many friends.
