I remember Charlie well from my childhood in Wisconsin - hanging out around the fire hall - our cabins by Books and deer hunting in Bayfeild. He was always a stand up guy and made the world a better place.

Charlie will be missed by many people. I knew Charlie as my mom's cousin, as the Mequon Highway Superintendent, Asst. Fire Chief from Mequon, etc. In every capacity that I knew him--he was a terrific guy and admired by many. I know that his entire family will have wonderful memories of him. Godspeed, Charlie

I fondly remember Charlie as a child when the DPW used to have an annual picnic at Little Green Lake in Washington county. He would jump in the lake with the rest of us kids and join in the fun. He liked to grab you and toss you in the air to make a huge splash. Always an honest and caring person. Sorry for your loss.
