I just ran across the obit, hoped to contact Charlie. I have been in the Colombian Andes for the last 13 years. Charlie was a very good guy. Hello to Doreen and Bill.

Good hearted. Kind, Great sense of humor. Chuck and I went to Marquette High school together. Fondest memories were the poker games hosted in Chuck's parents' basement with Dan Mooney, Marty Cherney and others. Chuck always seemed to do pretty well and I went home with my pockets much lighter. My condolences to Doreen and family.

Grew up two blocks away, went to grade school, high school and college with Chuck. One of my
longest, closest friends. Stayed with him and Doreen in Madison two summers ago. Deeply regret not having seen more of him in recent years. A very good man, husband, father, friend. RIP.
