Charles Ott Obituary

Ott, Charles R. On Sunday, December 17, 2017, Charles Richard Ott left Planet Earth to join his beloved wife, Kathleen Krause Ott who predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his parents, Albert S. and Ruby Papenthien Ott and his sister Priscilla Ott Horter. Charlie will be missed by the lights of his life, his devoted daughter, Leslie Anne Ott, sons Brian Richard (Kelly Egan) Ott, Charles Randall Ott and beloved sister Florence Ott Kirschbaum. He is also survived by his loving granddaughters Caitlin Rae Ott and Nicole Lee Ott and step-grandsons Andrew and Keelan Schmidt. Charlie's life was further enriched by his stepchildren- Robin Bachman (Michael) Gonring, Andy (Rachel Altstein) Bachman, Jackie Bachman (John Ward), Steven (Amy) Bachman, Janet Spangler and Mary Spangler (John) Albright. In addition, he will be missed by his niece, nephews, grand-nephews and many caring friends as well as his loving furry grand-critters. A celebration of Charlie's life will be held at a later date. Please check back on the funeral home's website for time and location to be determined later. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ronald McDonald House or the Boys and Girls Club of America are appreciated.

Charles "Charlie" Ott was one of the most popular students at ur Wauwatosa East High School. His outgoing personality endeared him to students, teachers, family friends, and all who knew or met him.
