Happy birthday, Sherry! I was outside and noticed the beautiful sky this evening! I knew the traces of pink coming down from the clouds was you. I´ve never seen anything like that, where I could see through the pink in the left part of the picture! Too beautiful to be a coincidence-of course it was you. I´m sure your birthday in heaven is better than any party here on earth. I know you´re dancing with the angels! I remember seeing that on your face in the hospital.
The transparent pink in the clouds reminded me of this:

Hey sweet sister! Of course, yesterday I was crabby thinking about today. Then I would think about what an incredible home you have now, full of grace and love and no judgement. I was outside for a while, taking pictures of the sky or the trees, hoping one would turn out well so I could add it to your post here. Nothing stood out to me, so I went back in the house feeling crabby again! Then, as unbelievable as it seemed, a rainbow appeared in the sky, ending right by the trees across the lake I was trying to take pictures of earlier! There you were, taking care of me, telling me what I already know about your heavenly home. I just needed a little nudge by you. You always took care of people. Even when people didn´t recognize it, or were swayed to think that caring amounted to keeping tabs on time and money. Anyone who really knew you could see your caring, loving heart. Nobody is perfect. God knows your heart. That is why He brought you home to be with Jesus. You always cared about everyone above yourself.

I tried to be happy today, because I know that's what you'd want. You always loved celebrating your birthday. I listened to all your favorite songs today, including Rod Stewart. I still can't believe you got up on stage and danced with him! You knew how to live life to the fullest!! And I'm so grateful for that.

Happy birthday, sweet sister! I miss you every day, but am reminded that you are happy and at peace whenever I see the beautiful blue sky and feel the warmth of the sun. I thought time would take away some of the sadness of you not being here with us, but that's simply not true. I DO know that in heaven you have so much more than this world could ever offer. You deserve that peace and that happiness. So many things remind me of you, which makes me smile; and then I picture you smiling and nodding your head at me, the way you used to do when you wanted me to know that everything would be alright.
Good people pass away;
the godly often pass before their time.
But no one seems to care or wonder why.
No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.
For those who follow godly paths
will rest in peace when they die.

Congratulations Sherry on becoming a grandmother today! I'm so happy that Ashley gave her your middle name. You'd be proud of Audrey, as she was there with her sister throughout her whole pregnancy and delivery.
Sue and I will make sure Nora Lynn grows up knowing her Grammy! I think she will be a dancer, just like you!

It's hard to believe it's been four years since you've gone to heaven. I think of you every day, and miss you! I was reminded of a Bible verse recently, and I thought of you right away.
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
