Daniel P. Wiedmann

Wiedmann, Daniel P. Lost his struggle with addiction on Fri., Aug. 15, 2014, at age 40 years. Loving son of Linda Wiedmann. Dear son of Rodney (Ellen) Wiedmann. Brother of Rod Jr., Jacklynn (Kalifa), Betty (Mike). Beloved nephew of Judy (Dave) Arawinko. Danny is also loved and survived by his grandmother, Joyce Daniels, his aunt Wendy (Jeff) Lehn, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his beloved son Daniel Sage, his grandparents Henry and Margareth Weil and Paul and Pat Wiedmann, his grandfather Charles Daniels, his uncle Paul Wiedmann and his sister Marie Wiedmann. There will be a time of gathering on Sun., Aug. 24, from 2:00PM-4:45PM, with a Memorial Service to follow at 5:00PM, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Rd. (on the corner of Hwy J and JJ, about 4 blocks south of I-94). In lieu of flowers, memorials in Danny's name may be made to CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation, The Gathering of Southeast Wisconsin, Inc. or The Wisconsin Humane Society. In his brief life, Danny had many friends, some of which he kept for years. He made friends easily with his quick smile and magnetic laugh, but that camouflaged the depression which haunted him, leading him to seek refuge with the substances that led to his death. He would want this to be a warning for others: don't be ashamed that you may struggle with mental illness and addiction; seek help wherever you can find it. It's never easy, life is fragile.
