Darlene Collier

Collier, Darlene (Nee Bartelt) Passed into Eternal Life on November 18, 2011, at age 89, after a brief and unexpected illness. Darlene will be missed by her loving children Charr (Lothar) Schienbein, Jack and Deborah (nee Maurer), and Thomas and Karen (nee Bahr), along with grandchildren Jason, Nicole (Kevin Goss), Bailey and Evan. Her loving spouse of 40 years, Thomas Collier, preceded her in death. Born in Dundee, WI, she was the last surviving sibling of eight. Visitation Monday, November 28, 2011, at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES (13235 W. Capitol Dr.) from 11 AM until 12:15 PM with a service to follow at 12:30 PM. Entombment will follow services. Darlene was a lifelong Milwaukee area resident, most recently of Harwood Place in Wauwatosa. She was involved in many activities, enjoying them with old and new friends. A dedicated member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church for 50+ years. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mt. Olive Lutheran and the Salvation Army are appreciated. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Froedtert Hospital for their wonderful care during her stay. Darlene Collier, a true lady, a loving wife and devoted mother, a wonderful friend and most of all, a daughter of the Lord, welcomed to Heaven's everlasting blessings and peace. Goodbye Mom.
