Rosa, Dennis J.

Dennis was born October 9, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan to Patricia (Karpency) and Daniel Rosa Sr. Following an injury, Dennis had a long struggle with daily life until he passed at Franciscan Place on February 12th, 2026, at an age of 77. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mary Ellen (née Toll) and is survived by brother Daniel Jr., his sister Deborah (Lawless) and her husband Greg. Dennis is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

While living in Detroit, Dennis attended St. James Elementary and continued at St. Anthony School when the family moved to Menomonee Falls. Dennis graduated from Pius XI Catholic High School and spent one year at UW Whitewater before moving quickly into the work force. Performing different jobs in sales and management, Dennis and Mary followed their jobs into the northern suburbs of Chicago. Dennis finished his career at Frisbee Senior Center where he assisted senior citizens with activities and the Meals on Wheels program. Dennis enjoyed bowling and golfing. His father often said Dennis was always able to talk to people and make friends.

Visitation with be at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 5th, 2026, followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 PM. Burial will occur at St. Peter's Episcopal Church Cemetery in North Lake, Wisconsin at a date yet to be determined.
