Dear Willa, Karen and Lisa....I can't even begin to express my sympathy to you. How do you ever heal and begin to smile again? You will, and as the grief subsides you will remember all of the wonderful times you've had with Dave...your Dad. He will be with you in ways you've never imagined and you will talk to him every day. Karen, I still see him sitting on the beach, having a beer with you and Brett. What a wonderful weekend you had with him. David and I feel honored that we too had that final weekend in California with your Dad. He was ALWAYS a good time! My love to all of you...Phyllis

I love you dear friend Willa. My heart is with you these days. I can't express my sadness for you and the girls. Dave is OK he is probably fishing with Earl as we speak. I'm there for you whenever you need me to be. The phone is next to my bed. Feel free my good friend.
