Diane Dziatkiewicz Obituary

Dziatkiewicz, Diane K. (Nee Backhaus) Of Milwaukee was received into her eternal home on January 5, 2017. She was born on December 12, 1956 in West Bend to Donald Backhaus and Yvonne (Nee Haessly) Kluever. She married David Dziatkiewicz on July 27, 1979 and together they brought their son Matthew into this world on April 21, 1986. Diane is survived by her mother Yvonne of Shawano, her brother Dennis (Cynthia) of West Bend, and her sister Debra (Steven) Martzke of Shawano. She is further survived by her sister-law Karen (Frank) Dethloff of Milwaukee, her nieces, Jessica, Jennifer and Lana, her nephews, Micah, Jeffrey and Daniel, step-children David Jr. of Milwaukee and Dawn (Norman) Stuart of Purvis, Mississippi, their children Dustin and Skylar, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband David and their son Matthew, her father Donald Backhaus, a sister Carol Backhaus, and step-father Earl Kluever. Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, 2:30PM - 4:00PM at CENTENNIAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3558 S 24th St., Milwaukee. Memorial Service at 4:00PM. Private inurnment Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Centennial Lutheran Church. A humble thank you to all of Diane's dear friends who cared for her deeply, toiled for her dependably, and prayed with her faithfully. Your kindness and love have not gone unnoticed. You are the ministering spirits in Hebrews 1:14, "Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?" Thank you also to the medical staff at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee, who looked after Diane's medical needs and to Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa who cared for Diane with compassion, dignity and gentleness and who lovingly supported her family and friends.
