She was the matriarch of the Selkey family, and her spirit will be with us always, in everything we do. Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts; it lifts us up to know that you are grieving with us.

I will always remember the Christmas that Diane invited me to share with the Selkey's. I was warmly included in the gift exchange game and it helped me to forget that I had lost my beloved husband. An example that demonstrated how sweet Diane was. I gave her a Thank You gift. She liked it so much, that she wanted to write a note back to ME. I was glad to hear from Karen that it had pleased her.
She was a great lady and her family should be comforted to know that she will always be with them.

these have been difficult times for the whole family. The strain of knowing there is no hope was hard, especially for Diane. When we visited last Thanksgiving, she was,as always, easy to talk to andI felt if I lived closer we would have been good friends.A loss to all; a very brave lady.

Diane always had it together. I never saw her frustrated. She was a wonderful person and will be missed.

I was sad to hear about Diane. I thought about her every day and knowing that this would be the out come, the reality of it is difficult. Diane was always cheerful and fun to work with on projects. She was the one who made me step out of my comfort zone and get more involved in the Garden club.
