Dolores G. Poetzl

Poetzl, Dolores G. (Nee Holzem ) Of Menomonee Falls, entered Eternal Life on Monday, June 9, 2014, at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of Edward for 63 years. Loving mother of Janice (Raymond) Burg, Gary (Julie) Poetzl, Alan (Janet) Edwards, late Dennis (Nancy) Poetzl, Nancy (Stewart) Maly, and Don (Bridget) Poetzl. Proud grandma of Stacy, Joel, Meagan, Jesse, Joshua, Andrea, and Nicholas, and great-grandma of ten. Dear sister to Marilyn (Bernhard) Molter and Edward Holzem and sister-in-law to Joan Holzem. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Esther (nee Weiland) Holzem, sister Barbara, and brothers Joseph and Francis. Dolores used her talents to make blankets and miscellaneous clothing for the comfort of others through the HOPE Network and was known for her exceptional apple pie and other baked goods. Dolores and Edward also volunteered their time at the Falls Food Pantry and other community organizations through the years. Visitation for Dolores will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the funeral home from 4 PM until time of Memorial Service at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society or the HOPE Network.
