Brookfield - Passed away peacefully May 16, 2021. Born May 27, 1927 in Bismarck, ND to Paul and Rose Bennett. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Gerald (Jerry) Van Handel. Survived by her children: Sharon (Charles) Bloom of Brookfield, WI; Jerry Jr. (Janet) of Camas, WA; Julie (Michael) Krieg of Burnsville, MN and Steve (Tracy) of Rosemount, MN. Further survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, sisters Patty Knoblauch of Savage, MN and Karen Freed of Forest Lake, MN.
Visitation Friday, May 21st Harder Funeral Home, Brookfield, 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Funeral mass St. Dominic Catholic Parish 1:30PM, Brookfield. See funeral home website for complete obituary.
