Mackett, Douglas J. Douglas "Buzz" J. Mackett, age 85, of Land O' Lakes, WI died Friday, October 13, 2017. Born in Milwaukee on August 19, 1932. A graduate of Messmer High School where he was the class President. Doug served his country in the United States Army. He was an accomplished musician and played professionally in the Milwaukee area. Employee of Allis Chalmers and Quad Graphics. Surviving is his wife; Sally Thomsen of Land O' Lakes, WI, daughters; Maureen (Craig) Garvaglia of Niagara, WI, Darlene, one son; Michael, two grandchildren; Alex Garvaglia and Megan Garvaglia, and one sister; Pat (Ron) Heinritz of Theinsville, WI. He was preceded in death by parents and sister; Joyce. A Celebration of Doug's Life will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hildebrand Funeral Home.
