Even though we only talked a few times in the last months of her life, I grew to love Eileen quickly. She has touched the lives of so many people and she will be greatly missed. I pray for Eileen and her family. Even in her illness, she chose to be joyful and encouraged all of us to do the same. I'm so thankful to have met her. I will always remember her uplifting spirit.

Eileen was such a dear friend. She was such a beautiful person, so loving, so very strong and courageous. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched, especially those closest to her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Eileen's and John's family and friends, and especially to Eileen's soul mate John. You two were such an amazing couple, and you supported each other with tremendous love and courage through the years. You're in our thoughts, prayers and hearts.

Eileen, As cousins, John, Mike and Russ,and my brother Rob were like my brothers and I was the only girl sister. Right now I am in tears thinking about the miles we have in the distance from Indiana to Wisconsin. I want to be there in person. My comfort comes from knowing you are at peace, out of pain, and with all of those who have gone before us. Our family has lost people way too young in age, from our 10 week old granddaughter to our long life 92 year old grandmother. Right now, tears will get us past the pain. Johnny, we are so very sorry for your loss, please know that we too are sharing in that loss.
Gamroth Family, you have lost a remarkable daughter, sister, aunt, niece & cousin, we have also lost a remarkable friend. We take comfort, as I hope you do as well, that Eileen is no longer suffering. We all know she fought the good fight.
