Erwin W. "Erv" Ihn

Ihn, Erwin W. "Erv" Erv entered this world on July 10, 1940, and left us on October 10, 2009, for a place of peace. Predeceased in death by his parents, Willy and Margaret (nee Schultz) Ihn, and brother Kurt. Survived by his children, Erik (Debbie), Jeff (Lisa), and Andy (Heidi); grandchildren, Zach, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Rachel, William, Emily, and Ethan; sister, Eleanor (Jerry) Kleser; companion, Marlene Morouse Aune; other relatives and friends. Erv served his country in the Army as a SP4, 28th Chem Det, fourth US Army. He began his life's career as the Butcher-Manager of Shinner's Meat Markets on the north and south sides of Milwaukee. He later moved to Oshkosh to open a Shinner's Market. He proceeded on to AAA in the insurance division, advanced to Moody-Ihn Insurance, and ultimately formed Associated Insurance Center in Sussex, WI. He was a longtime member of Sussex Lions Club, awarded the Birsch-Strum Fellowship in recognition of his service to the Lions Club. Erv was a member of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited, and Whitetails Unlimited. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed, respected and loved the land.
