Heidi J. Ihn, age 51, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at her home. Heidi was born in Wausau, WI, on March 15, 1974, to Virgil and Sharon (Zinkowich) Kleinschmidt. She was married to Andrew Ihn on September 20, 1997; he survives.

Heidi had been employed at the Oneida County Courthouse for over 25 years, most currently as a judicial assistant. She loved and cherished her family as they were the most important thing in the world to her. Heidi enjoyed flower gardening and shopping, but especially spending time at her lake cabin. She loved boating, campfires, being out in nature, and sitting in the warm sun listening to her music.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Andy Ihn; her children, Emily Ihn and Ethan Ihn; her parents, Virgil and Sherry Kleinschmidt; her sister, Heather Kleinschmidt (Gary Koskey); and her mother-in-law, JoAnne (William) Meyer. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Carol Zinkowich and Milton and Vernette Kleinschmidt; and her father-in-law, Erv Ihn.

In accordance with wishes, private family services will be held. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.

My very sincere condolences to Family especially, and friends of Heidi's. It is so shocking and sad to lose a loved one so suddenly and at such a young age. She will truly be missed. I was a JA at the courthouse until my retirement and I know she loved her job. She was ALWAYS helpful to us Bailiffs in recent years and so appreciated by everyone who knew her. God Bless you and give you all comfort. Sincerely, Mavis Winkler, Rhldr.
