Cheryl Stack (nee Barnes), age 70, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026. She was born on December 25, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and spent much of her life in New Berlin, Wisconsin, where she was a beloved member of her community.

Cheryl was a devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of deep faith. She attended Holy Apostles Church every Sunday and lived her life guided by kindness, positivity, and compassion for others. Known for her warm smile and uplifting spirit, Cheryl brought comfort and encouragement to those around her. She was always there when her family needed her and was truly the rock of her family.

Cheryl is lovingly survived by her children, Nicole Hampton and Dusten Carroll; and her cherished grandchildren, Jerrica Hampton, Christian Hampton, and Gianna Carroll. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride and joy in being a grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Barnes; her mother, Donna Barnes; and her brother, Paul Barnes. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Robert Barnes, Jr., Timothy (Kathy) Barnes, Richard (Maria Ragonese) Barnes, Joan Pufahl, Kathy Andreatta, Rachel (Kevin) McKinley and many nieces and nephews.

Cheryl will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her loving heart, and the strength she brought to her family. Her memory will live on in the lives of those who loved her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow the service. All services will be held at Holy Apostles Church, 16000 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin.
