To the family of Mr. McCall, I send my thoughts and prayers. I will miss sparring with "McCall" over whether the room at MEC was too hot or too cold and chewing the fat with him about various sporting events.
I know that Eugene is looking down lovingly at all of you; I could tell by listening to you speak of him that he will always be with you.

Wow! Cool Gene! My condolences to you all,
My first year teaching Mr. McCall was my savior. His kindness and willingness to share tips, thoughts and ideas certaintly maintained my sanity, while dealing with 125 eighth graders! He told me-find out what they like to do and get interested in it, they'll come around. I thought sure it's easy for you, you like basketball and so do the kids--I soon got to love basketball too. He was right. He will be missed.

To Eugene's Family:
I wish to express my condolences to all of you. I have known "Mr. McCall" for several years, as a co-worker in the Milwaukee Public Schools Programs for students with Visual Impairment. My own children, now grown, were also deeply saddened at the news of Eugene's passing. They became acquainted with him over the years, as we worked summer school sessions together, and he always thought of them and asked me how they were doing, as they matured.
I know he will be greatly missed in the Vision Program.

To the family, friends, coworkers, and students of Eugene, we send heartfelt condolences.
Eugene and I (Judy) worked together in Milwaukee. I know him as an energetic, "hard as nails" yet caring, dedicated man and teacher, who strove to make a difference in the lives of the students with visual impairments with whom he worked.
I (Michael) always thought that Eugene was a great guy with a good sense of humor. Being visually impaired myself, we had lots of discussions about sports & music & life in general. I will truly miss McCall.
While we haven't seen Eugene in recent years, the news of his passing touched us deeply. God bless you, and may His mercy surround you during this time and in years to come. Please know that at this very moment, Eugene is in God's hands - the best place to be!

Dearest Monette, you are loved by many. God will watch over you as well as Eugene. He was a man who left a lasting impression on many, even those who met him only once. You are a strong woman, and I know you will use those gifts God and Eugene gave you to move on. I pray for you and your lose.
