Dear Brynelson Family,
My mother, Connie Martin, was good friends with Evelyn for many years, and we visited Evelyn the last time we were in Milwaukee in 2007. Last year my mom tried to contact Evelyn but was unsuccessful and thought that she had passed away, so we did not try again this summer when Mom celebrated her 90th birthday. Mom had a wonderful party and we wished that Evelyn could have been there to share it with her. Mom died shortly after. So on her behalf, please accept our condolences for you at this time. My hope is that they are together now enjoying the best antiques! Regards, Stan Martin.

My sympathy goes out to the family during your time of grief. May God's loving-kindness comfort you and help you through this difficult time. (Psalm 119:50,76)

Dear Mrs. Brynelson, It was your second nature to quickly sense and touch our spirits with thoughtful, helpful and, as needed, healing words. It was our family's privilege to experience for years your warm and charismatic personality and your signature style (through antiques, perfume, and the Packers). As children we would later come to appreciate that you were the most engaging and intelligent person who had ever stepped into our home. Our young Evelyn Dugan has grown reflecting your feistiness, sensitivity, curiosity, and outsized personality that always had room to absorb and embolden others to live life without complaints and with confidence. May you rest in peace.
