Wanner, Frank A. Age 78 years. Of Sussex. Died peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2013. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Carpenter) (Paddock). Loving father of Greg (Jackie), Ken (Lynn), Lynette (Dan) Shepherd, Beth (Rick) Schepp, Rick (Kelly) Paddock and Cindy (Chuck) Harvey. Son-in-law of Janet Carpenter. Further survived by 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 25, at the FUNERAL HOME from 4-8PM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday at St. James Catholic Church, W220 N6588 Town Line Rd., Menomonee Falls at 10 AM. Final rest St. James Church Cemetery. Frank was a member of St. Joseph's Benevolent Society, Sussex Lions Club for 34 years, Wisconsin Association of Accountants where he served as President and Executive Director, and was a very active member of St. James Catholic Church. He was the owner of Wanner Bookkeeping and Tax Service. Frank really enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, boating and organizing fundraisers for the local community. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. James Catholic Church, Community Memorial Hospital Heart Center or AngelsGrace Hospice.

To the Wanner Family-
I was so sorry to hear of Frank's passing and even more upset that I wasn't able to attend the services. Through the years we've been blessed to have the Wanner family as not only my Mom's employer and my personal tax preparer, but we also had the honor to have Frank and Joan share in some of our family celebrations, both happy and sad. I will miss Frank and his positive outlook on life. I always enjoyed going to have my taxes done and hearing about he and Joan's fun adventures and was sad when he retired and wasn't able to have my yearly updates about their exotic trips. It was truly a delight to have Frank and Joanne as neighbors and are saddened to learn of his passing. When we moved in, he coached me on mowing lines into my lawn. We shared many memorable neighborly chats and parties. You are missed, Frank.

I was told about uncle Frank by my parents last evening, the last time I saw him was about six years ago, uncle Frank was not only an uncle to me he was also my godfather and a very good man, he will be missed. Aunt Joan my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time and I will never forget uncle Frank.
