All my life my mom (Loretta) said "Frank was a good brother, and he treated me well". Not bad from a little sister. I didn't get to see Uncle Frank often, but he was good to me too, and my father Frank thought well of him till his own early passing.

Memories of mine that will not be forgotten:

Frank was kind enough to hire me to cultivate red beets when I was 13 years of age or so. It was my first job and he also was kind enough to provide an umbrella for the tractor when the temperature rose in the afternoon. It was difficult to tell him that I ran over it when turning at the end of the row and the sun was now able to shine through it! He took it quite well.

Over the years, there were a few afternoons during the winter that we met at the Richfield Tap for sheepshead or a dice game. It was impossible to beat him and we never could get him to leave that four-leaf clover at home.

Ann, our visits to the Allenton buffalo feed were always a lot of fun. I guess it wasn't so much the buffalo but the multitude of folks that the two of you knew at the Allenton Town Hall that made it a special evening.

Submitted with my best wishes and sincerest sympathy----
Ozzie
