George Strobusch Obituary

Found peace on Jan. 6, 2005 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Genevieve M. (nee Bretz) for 57 wonderful years. Loving father of Dr. Alan (Tammy), Barbara (Mike) Stanke, James (Linda), Gary (Sally), Sandy (Neal) Kruszka and Pam (Gary) Meier. Proud grandfather of Marc (Shannon) Strobusch, Jeremy Kruszka, Matthew Strobusch, Jason Kruszka, Bonnie Strobusch, Stacy Strobusch, Bryan Strobusch, Andrew Strobusch, Eric Bakken, Melissa Meier, Kyle Bakken and Megan Meier. Loving uncle of Louanne (Robert) Jozwiak and great-uncle to Anne Jozwiak, Beth Jozwiak and Kathy (Chris) Eull. Also survived by other family, friends and neighbors.

George graduated from Lincoln High School in 1942 and was an all city gymnast and a life member of the Milwaukee Turners. George honorably served in the Army Air Force during WWII in North Africa and Italy. He was a retired electrician for the City of Milwaukee (Local 494) and a member of the Masons. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and being with his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 3200 S. Herman St., Milwaukee, WI 53207 or Milwaukee Turners, 1034 North 4th St., Milwaukee, WI 53203. Memorial Service at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Sat., Jan. 15, 2005 at 11:00AM, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, WI.
