Dearest Hal....today I unexpectedly learned of your passing. Somehow I managed to miss this and I´m devastated we have learned you are no longer of this world. You were a wonderful and bright light in the world. How fortunate I was to meet you by accident one evening as you and Judy Barczyk displayed you´re at work at merriment in walkers point. It was there I bought my first "early Hal" piece of artwork and several others shortly there after. You are indeed a gentle soul oh and talented artist; I am sorry I missed saying goodbye in March 2019 but I am saying goodbye now. I will remember you always, Hal. To your husband and family know I share your loss but also believe we´ll see each other again. RIP dear Hal. Your friend, marianne Burish

I am so glad I had the opportunity to call Hal a friend. He is the most personable, polite and fun man I had the pleasure to know. I'm hoping he is enjoying a margarita in heaven.

I did not know him well, or long, but admired his creative spirit and drive. He always had time to talk about his artistic experiences and was kind and caring. To those who were close to him, I will keep you in my most positive thoughts. ~Liz Phillips

Tearfully, as I take in this shocking news, I can clearly imagine Hal laughing and smiling in his special Hal way. He blessed us in so many ways and will remain in our fondest memories. Bob and the family, Gordy and I wish you peace in this difficult time.
