I remember our warm greeting at the airport in China and the smiles on Herb and Mindy's faces when walking with my students in Wuhan, China. They were enjoying themselves so very much as did my students meeting and spending time with them. Photo here with Apple, one of my students.

Herb was just ten days older than I as we grew up in Wisconsin. Six of us cousins, three of us Jrs., were all born in 1942, a very good year! A wonderful, kind, intelligent and interesting guy in every way. I will miss him greatly.
