I just had been thinking about Howard today. I was looking at the last issue of Dystonia. I´m sorry to hear that he passed in January. He was a wonderful soul who lived for contributing to the ST community: research, magazine, trips, golfing were some of his efforts to keep his followers hopeful. Bless you Howard for all your work. You are not forgotten.

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Howard was a very special man who led the way for many of us who suffered from spasmodic torticollis. He gave us hope with his support and positive attitude and brought us all together to learn and laugh at his informative symposiums. We loved him and appreciated his kindness and understanding to all. We were privileged to know him and his supportive family and especially Jacki and Hunz.
Sincerely,
Kim and Sophie Watt

My gosh, I was just reading an update he had written for the Dystonia, Inc. FB page. I met him years ago at multiple yearly events. He shared his own CD story, being a tireless advocate for years, trying to focus on positivity and living life. May he Rest in Peace. He has left us with a long legacy of stories, events, bulletins, magazines, along with inspiration, overcoming the odds, dealing with the emotions of CD.
He will be sorely missed. Deepest Condolences to his family, who he loved so dearly and to his many friends from across the world.

I am so sorry to hear of Howard's passing. May he rest in peace and eternal joy. Howard helped me understand and cope with my diagnosis of cervical dystonia. At a time when I felt so alone and confused, he shared his wisdom with me. I will never forget him. He helped countless sufferers of this condition. Blessings to your entire family, Lindsay

I met Howard almost 20 years ago. It was during a meeting with all the dystonia organizations. I will always remember how comfortable he made you feel when you talk to him. He also had a witty sense of humor that I appriciated. He was a passionate man when it came to dystonia. He helped so many people. The dystonia community has benefited greatly because of all his efforts.
