Iris,Greg and Family
May each of you find Peace, Comfort and some understanding in the passing of Iris. Our prayers are with each of you and hope we can visit one another very soon. Words cannot express how sorry I am not being able to be with any of you at a time you needed an extra "hug". My heart is breaking that I couldn't be there for any of you. May God Bless and comfort each of you...

Dear Iris, Greg and Family,
We had the pleasure of meeting your Mother only twice. Once at your wedding and then again last year, but I fondly remember the times we spent with her. How wonderful for her to be so loved and have such a fulfilling life. Know that we are thinking of you at this sad time.

Dear Iris and Libby,
During this past year I have come to know you both as well as your children, sisters, their children and beyond. The warmth and humanity that Sage and I have seen, as well as experienced first hand, is a legacy that has been carried throughout the generations. We are both thinking of you and yours during this difficult time. We wish you the strength that family brings.
Lots of love,
Sage and Judi Austin

I wish to offer my sincerest condolences to the family. Mrs. Amend was always a gracious and superb neighbor to my parents (the Peacocks), and always had a special treat for my daughter on Halloween. I wish you all the best in this difficult time - your mother will be truly missed.

Dear Family of Iris,
I am saddened at the news of the death of my dear friend Iris. We became quite close over the past couple of years. Iris is such an inspiration and an example of a woman who lived life to the fullest. Those who knew her only benefitted from her gentle smile, grace and presence that brought such peace and serenity. I admired her strength and energy in living life for others. She loved her family and spoke so highly of each and everyone of you!
I feel blessed to have come to know Iris. I just had lunch with her in October and we had such a beautiful day... the memories I have of Iris will be cherished for a life time. Thank you Gretchen for introducing me to your Grandmother and sharing her with me.
I will carry Iris in my heart.
With sympathy and love,
Suzanne Lovinus

Aunt Iris was one of the classiest chicks I ever knew! She embraced life and lived it to the fullest. My mind is full of memories of her which I will always cherish. She was the only person who ever called me Wendith. Where she came up with that, I'll never know! Memories of times spent in Door County will be forever special. I'll always remember how much she loved music and dancing and the woman could tell a great joke! She will be greatly missed as she touched so many lives, but her grace and humor will live on through those she loved. I love you, Aunt Iris.
