I met Pat while supporting a small software system for the law firm. I was fired from a job and it was a competitive employer to my future husband only 4 weeks after starting there and less than a week after my employer finding out my upon my finance's employer. They manufactured another reason to let me go and tried deny unemployment. Pat stepped in and his mere presence representing me at the hearing made them back off. I was young and hurt because I didn't understand why I was let go and lies were told about me to unemployment. Pat was a man of honor, integrity and a big heart and made a difference in my life. I will always have kind thoughts of Pat and was sorry I didn't know of his passing earlier.

Pat was a mentor to me in early days at M&I. He was always a good guide and provided support in the form of both knowledge and a smile. My condolences to Kathy and the family. I join in missing Pat with the knowledge that the world is a lesser place. But he managed to make me a little Irish and add a twinkle in the eye to everyone he dealt with. God Bless.

Pat was a dear, thoughtful and caring friend to my husband Tom and me. I will always remember Tom putting on his green tie for his and Pat's annual St. Patrick's Day lunch. And I remember Pat & Kathy's caring presence when Tom was in hospice care. Pat was not just my lawyer after Tom died but was the essence of a true friend.
My condolences to Kathy, Brian and Jeannie. Pat will surely be missed.

PATRICK WAS AN OUTSTANDING MAN WHO LIVED A LIFE OF MEANING AND RELEVANCE FOR OTHERS. HE WAS A WONDERFUL HUSBAND, FATHER, GRANDFATHER, SON, BROTHER, AND FRIEND TO SO MANY WHO WERE ENRICHED BY HIS THOUGHTFUL GUIDANCE AND COUNSEL. HE WAS A DEAR FRIEND FOR OVER 60 YEARS . HE WAS KIND AND COMPASSIONATE AND WE CREATED MANY MEMORIES WHILE SHOOTING HOOPS IN THE MU GYM AND LATER WHILE SERVING IN THE USM(RESERVES) . IT WAS OUR PRIVILEGE TO KNOW PATRICK .GOD BLESS TO KATHY AND PATRICKS CHILDREN AND SISTERS. HUGH AND KATIE MCMANUS.
