Lang, Jack R. Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, June 26, 2017. Age 80 years. Beloved husband of the late June M. Lang. Loving father of Philip (Annette) Lang and Cheryl (Joe) Kinares. Cherished grandfather of Hillary Lang, Christopher Lang and Raney Clapp. Dear brother of Gerald (Jean) Lang. Further survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other family members and friends. Memorial visitation Friday, August 4, 2017 from 4-6 PM at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 6700 S. Howell Ave. Oak Creek. Memorial Service at 6PM. Jack was a retiree of Delco Electronics after 33 years of service. He was a volunteer with the Oak Creek Police Department and was a member of the former South Shore Republican Club. If desired, memorials in Jack's name may be made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.

I first met Jack when I started work at Delco Electronics back in 1980. I was a very young contract engineer and he was a supervisor of a rather large department of operators and techs- Ambient Test/Repair, I think. I admired his matter-of-fact way of handling things. He was always good and supportive of me in my budding career. Later, I got to know Jack when we transferred to St. John's church in Oak Creek. He was always serving as usher and attended most of the functions, meeting and fellowship activities. To me he will always be remembered as an easy-going, mild and thoughtful man.
