My sympathies to the family, I worked with Jim at Northwestern National. He was a great friend and is still in my fondest memories.

Jim was such a sweet guy.
He never seemed to be bothered much by cold weather. I remember him walking up to NN from the parking lot wearing his blue suit and an incredibly long wool scarf wound several times around his neck, with long ends trailing after him in the brisk air.
His warm smile will be missed. The world is diminished without him.

You don’t know how sadden I was by the news.
Jim was the one that was the good friend.
He always took the time to contact me whenever he came to town.
Often times we were not able to connect and I truly regret those misconnects.
Jim was much of the reason I got where I am today.
In our early days at NN he was often my mentor.
He was always willing to share his vast knowledge with anyone.
That was appreciated, but I enjoyed the fun times we had over adult beverages even more.
I don’t know what he wore to work lately, but in those days it was always his blue suit.
I’ll remember those suits and his huge grin.
I was truly fortunate to call him my friend.
Please share my condolences with the rest of your family.
I miss him already.
