I got to know Jim through my neighbors, The DeMotto's. He came to my rescue when my house was flooded on Christmas eve morning. Always kind.

Bonnie, Jim, Dave, and Mark, so incredibly sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Many fond memories of being part of your family; although only what seems for a short period of time and years gone by, they will always remain imbedded in my life. To the "cool dad" I didn't have, you were always kind to me. May God's love bring comfort to all of you during this time. Laura (Baumgardner) Watson

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing and my heart and prayers go out to Bev and his family. Though I wasn't able to come back to Milwaukee for the Notre Dame reunions, I so appreciated all the work he did in organizing them and keeping us in his class up to date. From the obituary, I see that Jim was exactly 1 day older then I am.
