Jane Weber Obituary

Weber, Jane E. (Nee Shand) Of Waukesha, born September 23, 1949, passed peacefully on February 16, 2012, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Joseph, her four children, Bob Branstetter, Bill (Alicia) Branstetter, Bryan (Katie) Branstetter, and Beth Branstetter, her mother Dolores, her sisters Barbara Evert, Susan (Tom) Hoffman, and Kathy (Norm) Finster, and three grandchildren, Lauren, Bobby Jr., and Haleigh. She was preceded in death by her father Robert and sisters Karalee and Patricia. Jane is further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends. Jane will forever be remembered for her loving and giving ways. She retired from AT&T after over 30 years of service. She was active in the Waukesha Service Club and believed in giving back to the community. Jane loved playing golf, traveling and celebrating life with her friends and family. She was the true "cruise director". Visitation will be Monday, February 20, from 4PM to 6PM, at Christ The Servant Lutheran Church, located at 2016 Center Road, Waukesha, with a service celebrating her life immediately following. A reception with refreshments will follow in the Ark. In lieu of flowers, Jane requested donations be made in her memory to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research or the Waukesha Service Club. The family gives a special "thank you" to Dr. Sanchez and the nurses and staff at Aurora Cancer Care, Waukesha memorial Hospital, and the Aurora Visiting Nurses Association. Jane was a special lady.

I am deeply saddened to hear that we have lost Jane as a Member at Merrill Hills. While I only knew her for a short time, I enjoyed her energetic spirit whenever she came into the club. When I first started working at Merrill, I remember her being one of the friendliest members and I will never forget that. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Weber family.

Dear Cousin, may you rest in peace. I remember all the good times and laughs we use to share at the family gatherings. We wonder why the lord seems to take the good ones, it must be that they are truely angels.

To the family, my deepest sympathy, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
